When ARs go wrong

How does a reel get like this?  For an ARB to go so wrong the reel must have been dunked in saltwater and forgotten for a while.  Such a reel seems beyond repair.

Bryan, it looks like the right side plate is so corroded it must be replaced.  Removing these bearings and pressing in new ones seems like a challenge.

When I first saw AR I thought this belongs in the gun section!

So, Joey, did it clean up and were you able to replace that bearing?   I have a dx2 400 sitting next to me as I type this on the iPad.
