Does anyone recognize this thread pattern?  There are no marking or labels left.  It's approx 108" (9'), tapers from approx 1/4" at the tip to 3/4" at the top handle, and a varnished birch or maple handle....it currently has three eyes (I'm guessing one was lost through the years).  Thanks for any input....Bill

It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!
