I just did my first complete take down on a Beachmaster 160. Just a little corrosion on the spool, but otherwise perfect. I think I was expecting it to be larger, but it really is a very nice size, smaller than my LB 60 and maybe closest to a 209? I am excited about this reel and I am actually glad there is no levelwind to deal with. How is it regarded in terms of quality among similar Penns. Anyone fish with one here?

I have several 180s, same thing only narrower. They are the cheapest of this era Penn. Small gears and drags and no exploding right side plate.
