Just received my reel kit from Gil last week (a great guy to deal with ) and  started to assemble it . I was able to find 2 new factory aluminum spools at a local fishing flea market here on Long Island . I would like to put a mini shark handle with a mini handle from Alan on it if they can make a smaller version. Would like to here from other members to see haw they built or modified theirs

Mine came the same way & it will stay that way. The reel will never see water. It will be in the living room where I can see it on a Plinth.

mine will come the same way, fully assembled. but will do a pre-use service(exploratory surgery) when i'm back in LA.

Rusty i think the 112H SS sleeve, which i think i have, fits the 146  . this will be the 1st thing i'll do.
