replacement gears from Penn for SSV

Hi everyone,

What is all your thoughts on buying the replacement machined brass/brass gears for the SSV?  Is it worth it?

Absolutely better than the white metal/pig metal/zinc/whatever you call the softer metal the original gears!

I wouldn't change them until it becomes necessary. I do see many corroded gears in the SSV reels but it's usually the crosswind gear first.
