I'm in!
What are we cooking?
We will have to suffer thru without Miss Mari and her lasagana as she is in training for a 24 hour  race the following weekend and will not be distracted......

Best,
JT
There is nothing like lying flat on your back on the deck, alone except for the helmsman aft at the wheel, silence except for the lapping of the sea against the side of the ship. At that time you can be equal to Ulysses and brother to him.

SwEEEET Randy! & Welcome home. Glad you had a great trip!

Thanks for doing all of the work to put this charter together Tim.  We are still in Maine but on our way home on Friday.  I'm really looking forward to finally getting to fish with you guys.

You've already fished with some of us in 2015 on the SOA!

Saw that even the Fiesta crew was using the old traditional (and weaker) dropper loop on the recent Morro Bay 9/19 trip. Old habits die hard...remember the Spider Hitch I'd shown you at Cedros? What works for YT will do also for rockfish. Once you pullup bait on the Spider Hitch, switch over to Alan's trap rig.  ;D

yeah, five ling cod grabbed on, then let go.  the 6th one finally stuck.
send me an email at alantani@yahoo.com for questions!

You're right, and I had a blast (until we started that nasty ride home), but I haven't fished with Tim and Steve, and I have missed all of the previous opportunities to fish locally with any of us except for one time with Sheridan.

OK, Just got off the phone with Brad League the owner of the Endeavor and he said because the Sunday trip is so popular that he is firm on the $3100.00 (for 1 person or 35) for a 12 hour charter to Cape San Martin. So 20 @ $150.00 + a couple of bucks each is the best we can do and this will not include food, drink, fish cleaning, ect... He requires 1/2 deposit to hold the spot and has a few locals he could reach out to to help fill in the load. I really don't want to fish 35 on that boat but if we can't raise the $ we can just pay regular fare and be crowded. He also said once the charter is paid for he would be more than willing to work out a food and fish cleaning price for the whole boat. I can get more info later, but he had to drop the phone and grab a gaff  ;D.

Tim... is the date at all flexible?  Can we do better on a weekday?

I agree with you and don't want to go with 35 people. 18 - 20 works.

thanks

Steve we could do better on a week day or even a shorter trip. But people that work M-F may find this a bit tougher. He does Wednesday 12 hours 18 @ $150. Right now I can go any day but that could change tomorrow if I accept a job. The Wednesday Nov. 2 has 16 open spots and we can't charter once people have paid. Friday is a 10 hour trip that is around $2600.00 to charter, Saturday Nov. 5 is already chartered. I'm open for suggestions, but we have to have Alan involved or we get hotel rooms.

Yes...Friday or Monday works as well. I will call Brad tonight and get more pricing for 10 hour and 12 hour trips. 12 hour trips are to Cape San Martin anything less would be fishing elsewhere. We could private charter a 1/2 day or 3/4 shallow water or whatever we want if we pay the price.

What kind of fish will you be targeting?  Dominick

The Large ugly kind  ;D Ling Cod, Boccaccio, bolina, reds , and of coarse I will be looking for a smaller starie than the one that won me the coveted carp from Jonathan  ;D You should go Dom.

BT
That means the boat stops and goes up and down, up and down, up and down; and... burp excuse me I gotta get to the rail.   ;D Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

well the knee specialist recommended I have knee surgery so unless someone is willing to tie me to the rail and babysit me I think I'll be unable to attend...

Theres a slim chance i can go but it'll depend on when i have the surgery, post surgery restructions and how fast i start to recover....

I'm beginning to think I'm never gonna be able to attend any of these "fishing parties".....
