I actually don't much care for the whole concept of a "shelfie", because in theory I'd like to fish with every last reel that I own.

I'm with Randy on that 49A, what a score that was !!

Daron, you are the king of Everol bling. seeing that 20/0 never gets old

I agree Aiala, reels were built to fish...................but building one purposely for the shelf never hurt  :D  :D

this reel must be called the Chameleon.. it becomes invisible on any enviroment, you only see the surroundings but not the reel per se.

I'm pretty sure that is a set of Tom's plates that Ted went to town on with some Nevr-Dull.
Then added his custom goodies.

Sorry to put 2 up, but these are kinda inseparable, a bit like twins and I could`t choose which one anyhow.

Nice reels everyone. There are some unique reels right there.
Ted, that's just sick! I'm starting to think you're a sorcerer and that's your crystal ball.
Pics to come in a couple weeks.
Thanks for sharing,

well I dont have any proper shelfie reel, all of them are for fishing but on a double thinking I have this pair on one of my office cabinets

they need another clean job to get the shine on them again, they work but I have never put any line on them since the day I found them (on different years) on flea markets

the chrome flueger still have nice patina as you can see on the reflection

Ive never been one to buy something and not use it, BUT  ::) from the first time I saw the Levelmatic I knew I had to have one, I have other baitcasters that have more capacity and drags, but my little 930 will always be a special little reel in the collection.....Bill
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

If you are peeking into my Soul Dan, I want you to see this. Not Nessie.
This is truly my most Prized reel, and was very hard to get.

Here's another favorite, a very clean Senator 2/0 with a lemon swirl handle knob, sounds almost good enough to eat! :D ;D 8)
