Greets, I bought the model for the 114H in glorious Senator red last year, from "CharkBait".
I bought the wrong size.  Entirely my fault and as I am from the UK., I am not sending it back.
This is the absolute business, the mutts danglers, whatever.
Lovely foam T grip, right length and adjustable, spigot located nut with oversize bolt to attach the T to blank.
Very thick blank at the grip end, stepped down at the reel end where everything is wide.
The T is on bearings, offset, weighted and articulates over very many degrees.  Thus, you have optimum personal angularity without excess packed space.
The finish is what you would expect from someone specialising in custom work.
The frustration of it not fitting my 113Hs is agonising.
Where can I get the right one?  What part no do I need to order?
I am confused by Tom's site. He refers to 4/0 Senator but I believe the 113 has a different fitting to the 113H.
I know that that for the 30T / W would fit but gold does not suit Senator red side plates on a Tiburon silver frame.
Who sells them.  Very little joy from Tom.
Just a T or two, with all these features, that I could attach to my 24-30TW-1 blanks would do.
Commercially available offerings would have their attachment bolts lost in the hole in the 24-30TW-1
N.B. If you have an horrible H2, upgrade with SS bridge sleeve and 23-114 plus locking screw.  Otherwise, it looks like an ABU 5500.
Who sells Tiburon narrow kits.  I need another and Tiburon do not export.  My first was an e-bay purchase.
For those who were asking, set SPL-1 and HPL-1 or SPL-2 and HPL-2 by AFTCO, give you very easy drag adjustment within user defined limits.
You set a moveable stop and the drag is then restricted to approx 5 legs.  Similar to setting the maximum "Strike" setting on a lever drag.
Brilliant, if you can still find them.  Use a SS bridge sleeve as the stars are massive and facilitate great pressure on the stack via the sleeve threads.
Anyone found a real solution to line dig when using braid at high drag settings?
In the UK., most high drag fishing involves much grunt.  We are lifting "Old Nick" from the bottom.
Big running fish are rare.  Some sharks but tuna are very rare.
Sometimes you are sure you have hooked the plug instead.  Conger eels, big skate and other bottom dwelling lovelies.
Conger must be given absolutely no line until they are mid-water.
You catch them around wrecks and if they get a tail around a stanchion, goodbye eel and terminal tackle.
Skate just kite in the tide like a grand piano but you do have to unsuck them from the bottom first.

??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???                                                          What are you trying to say?? All I understand is a 113 4/0  is also a 113H 4/0 but just different models. The H2 does not have a SS bridge sleeve available, you have to convert it to an H model sleeve. Your handle assembly sounds like a complete Aftco setup. Get in touch with Aftco for Aftco parts & instructions. To stop braid from digging in it has to be spooled with at least ten lbs. of drag. It sounds like it is wrapped to loose. Tiburon kits are available from Randy on this site, look under Vintage Offshore Tackle on this site. The 30T/Wide would be available from Scott's MysticParts (Penn Parts Dealer) but I don't think it will fit. That's about all I can understand of your dilect.           Rudy

Malcolm,
I have some of the power handles from Reel Colors for my 114HLW's.  I've never used the handles or the reels but what I can tell you is that the 114H handle will not fit a 113H.
Sorry you paid all that money for them not to work, but I would get 2- 113H's to put them on an your all set.
Hope that helped a little,
Dom

Yes, the 24-30TW-1 handle blank does fit.  It also fits the GLS 25, GLS 40 and 970 / 980 as well.  The locking system is more sophisticated however.

The internals of the 113 4/0 and 113H are just about totally different.

Money spent on the "Reel Colors" handle was just shrapnel.  Unimportant.  The frustration of not having the correct size is another matter.

The SS bridge sleeve drops straight into the H2 as the bridge is still from the old 349H.
(Fits the 970 / 980 as well, I have two, for Winter cod beach fishing and uptiding.)
Needs a 23-114 plus safety screw and a spacer if you are keeping the thinner SS handle.
My SS handle is now on my GLS 40.

Yes, I do have the complete Aftco set up on my H2.  Brilliant!  What a shame it has been discontinued.
I have read many posts by people who didn't know how the system works or even that there was a two part system.  This was for their information.

Very many thanks for the tip on really tight spooling.  I assume, I need use of yet another big reel.
If I take the wire line off my 66 + steel spool, that may do it.  Failing that, e-bay for an old 6/0.  LOL.
Modern braids are new to me.  Up to now, I have used IGFA Dacron for pirking, 40lb wire for general purpose fishing and mono for < 30lb or >50lb work.
With braid, hopefully, the wire can be retired and the 4/0s are already being beefed up and sized / narrowed down as I should no longer need the capacity for 60lb mono nor have to carry 4lb leads.  We used to mould our leads in brick frogs to get the size.  Even with wire, you need 1 1/2 lb of lead in a good tide.

Thanks for the pointer on Tiburon kits.  I do need one more.  Red / silver / red / silver, whatever.

Anyone have anything to say on AFTCO wind ons?  I know what they are for but what are the snags?  Always snags!

I cannot have a dialect, I am an Englishman from Wessex!

Rgds.

The words you use and how you use them is hard to understand. By the way I said the 113 4/0 & the 113H 4/0 are two different models. But both are classified as 4/0's. I didn't say they were the same. Also a 114 6/0 & a 114H 6/0 are also two different models. One has black plates & the other has red or maroon plates.
