my mate opened up his new tyrnos 50 2 speed and gave it the tani treatment.the drag washers are like all the rest,crap.karl is going to post some pics

once this drag washer issue gets settled, these should be fine.  the broken reel seat problem will also have to be checked out.  alan

i have made my mind up about these reels.
1,drag washers
2.weak frame,i wonder what drag pressure that red pulled to break it.they fight good for a sporting fish but ave;;about 15kg.hardly something to be scared of with $400/$500 reel!!
3.open bearings with small dob of grease,not packed.
4 made in malaysia

yeah, i know.......   

the tyrnos 30II is only $360 here in the US.  i think that this price makes the reel a viable option, even with all of these problems.
