Shimano Tiagra 50 Clicker

The clicker on my Tiagra 50 is not working.  Before I start pulling apart an expensive reel, I was wondering if anyone could help me diagnose how to fix it.  Tight lines!!!

two item's come to mind the spring came off or the plastic eye broke off. part number 275 and 276 on shimano schematic. the fix is simple it just requires you to take apart the whole right side plate. lol take a look here under shimano tutoriols it showes the alert plunger
