In size, does the Pacifica 2000 compare to say a Penn 4/0?
What are overall opinions of this reel and it's drag for it's size?
Thanks -g

Alan, Would you rate them on par or better than a Penn of the same size
and are they easy to work on? -g

basically the same.  they always seemed to have more corrosion, though.

Is this because of the side plates? Think Accurate. -g

the side plates were graphite and seemed to attract salt.  the anodizing on the frame also seemed to attract salt.  i worked on a few and did not care for them at all.

Jigmaster with a aluminum frame and graphite sideplate, excellent caster, 5:1 gear ratio, very versatile.  The one that need to be change is the handle, it's too short making it hard to crank.  It was good when i got it about 12 years ago.
