The lever O-rings crumbled on my sons 113H Cortez build so I want to get them back on quick.

I can pick them up local if I know the size.
I woke today and suddenly nothing happened.

Randy try the local Ace or Osh.  You should be able to match O rings at any local hardware store.  Unless of course it is on off size.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Hey Randy, the silicone rubber ones are the best and like Dom says, Ace True value will probably have them or even Home Depot. Put some silicone grease on them before install.

Stay well,  ..  Lou

The black o rings come from McMaster. The correct size is 008.

The colored o rings are not UV resistant. The black o rings are and will not have issues. Most the levers I shipped with colored o rings also had a set of black in the package.

Sorry for my delayed response. I am guilty of fishing 13 of the last 14 days.

Anyone needs a couple o rings please let me know and pm your address and I'll send them.

I'm only doing black rings now because they are much better quality and have a 15 year shelf life.

My white ones, that look o-so-sweet, deteriorated.  So I'll switch over to the blacks...thanks for adding extras in the package.

Wow Ted, that is some serious fishing...hopefully there is some catching in there  :D

These were black ones on a red lever.

I actually found some that fit from my sprinkler valve repair box.

I saved myself a trip but I know they are easy to find at OSH or Ace.  I just figured if I knew the size I wouldn't have to get a bunch of different sizes.

By the way, a red lever looks killer on a black 255.   8)

Thank you for the feedback on the o rings Randy. The black o rings that come with the levers are made from "Buna N" and are supposed to be best ones out there.

The search is on for better o rings that will last longer.

Ted, Just to be clear, this was not a complaint.  You have been super generous to me and many others here.

My feelings would be of pure guilt if any one actually requested that you mail them replacement 2 cent parts.

Half my darn 'show off' stuff is because of your efforts.

Thanks for the reply but stand down Sir.  You Maxed out!  ;D

Look at Viton, Ted. You won't get the colors, but it's a good material.

Bhuna-N is nitrile also known as trade names Nipol, Krynac and Europrene. I have a box of mixed sizes I use for any type of sealing task - like hose connectors. I  know Dupont Viton is used in the oil/fuel and general chemical industries.
What I know for sure is nitrile o rings are dirt cheap and be purchased almost anywhere. I also use boxes of the thin blue nitrile gloves - they offer good protection and keep your hands clean.

The buna orings wont tolerate solvents. Viton doesn't get affected by that and can tolerate heat also.
