Hi...I signed up to be on this forum on Aug 11 and got a reply that I would get an email when I was approved...Never got the email but tried to sign on today and it worked...All is good....Searching for tutorial on how to take apart and clean etc a abu garcia 6500 C3 2 speed reel which I got at a rummage sale couple years ago...Let the search begin...

The approval process is a one-step, approve and send email, at the same time. It's probably in your spam folder.... sorry if it didn't work out as you expected!

this is old.  it was actually written before carbontex drags were available, but it covers most everything.  order a set of carbontex drags and cal's grease from smoothdrag.com and you should be all set.
