I looked, there is one on the auction site. It is a shame that most of what you see odd numbered on there is taken apart.

Forgive me if I state the obvious, but Festus, did you notice the planamatic gearing action on that 308?  When you reel it, the spool oscillates in and out in a bit of an odd looking way?  I had heard about this planamatic gearing on some Mitchell reels, but the worded explanations didn't really make it clear to me.  I see it now on the 309 (a picture being worth a 1,000 words).
