cabelas dt300 reel

someone gave me this cabelas digital line counter reel..DT-300...battery is missing...anyone now what number button cell battery this reel takes..just toying with it to see if it works..any replies appreciated..cabelas no help..

you may have to measure the diameter and height and just try one to see if it works.  bummer......

Try a 3V CR2032. It's a very common battery and  I'm pretty sure that's what you need.

bring the reel to a pawn shop -- they usually have an abundance/variety of batteries, to check if stuff works
