As the 1100, the 1200 is also very hard to find , this one is in great shape

A much larger reel, but basically of the same design

the only difference is with the rotor, the 1200 has two screws holding it down, the 1100 has only one.

also, the rotor on the 1200 comes with a bearing

if I had to compare it to a Penn, i would say it's very close to the 710Z. as the 1100, the 1200 is 1/2" longer

Best,

Sal

Boy, Sal, you really have become a "Crack" addict!  :D

These are some of the 1970ish models. Definitely a little different style & mechanics than the original Luxor/Cracks.
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)

You are correct Tom, these are more refined, but the older ones are much tougher...just like me and you :)

Yes John, there weren't many of these models, one of the reason i decided to go for it.
Here are the ones I got so far:

I have a couple more, but are the same as some you see here. I have 7 so far and looking for the other 3.
I have a couple new friends in Italy looking for me, somehow these French reels hopped over there at some point.
I've also asked Fred ( Captain64-200) to keep an eye out.
I don't really need to have them, but thought it would be nice...we'll see.
