Is there a castable electric/power assist reel?

I am going to come up with something home made. Waiting for some parts and deciding to use a low profile baitcaster or round reel. When the project gets underway I will start a new thread and post pictures. Hopefully either reel I choose should all be adaptable for the same contraption. ;D

I just ordered some stainless nuts that are actually pretty hard to find the handle nut is a M8 with a .75 pitch. I will post when I receive the nuts and start trials!

Late to the party as usual.
We run a lot of copper and leadcore lines 300-600ft back when trolling.
On our Tekotas/ Squalls I replace the handle nuts with a 3/4" long piece of 1/2" stainless hexagonal stock. I drill and tap the "nut".
we use a drill to check/ change our lures. Saves a lot of time  reeling with no fish on.

You really need a lathe to get the hole centered  in the hex stock.
