So I'm confused here (that's easy to do).
Are the screws that come with Tom's plate upgrade kits not SS?
Or, are you offering a different head size?
Sorry, I've procured a few 113h xxn frames, new side plate kits, and SS guts.
But have yet to start. Excuse my not grasping the obvious.

Grin Gary: The 8-40 SS Allan Head Cap Screws I made for Tom's 9/0 Sets that he just made it's a odd screw size to get in SS in fact it is none existent as far as I know, and I have looked all over. So I decided to make them to offer to Tom actually. Because making 12 or so at a time is not cost effective in labor alone. I will make them if enough people want them. I have 250 screws to re-thread and that's it for now. I am giving Tom first shot because he was good enough to work with me on this. There is few guys that ordered some that I will honer, and if Tom decides he doesn't want to buy the bulk. Them I'LL make as much as I have time for and sell them to whoever wants to buy them.

I am no longer offering 8-40 SS cap head screws do to some difficulty in the specks I have for the Cortez Conversions 9/0 plates. Sorry for the failed attempt to supply those that were interested.

Joe, aren't the 8-40 screws for Tom's 9/0 plates oval head and not cap screws? The only place cap screws will work is for the bridge screws and I believe they are 10-32.       Rudy

Not to my knowledge, I was told they are Penn stock screws that are going with Tom plates. There not oval, but if mean by that, that they are counter sunk relieved....then yes. But that's not the issue.

I don't want to get into the technical issues on it. Lets just say the cap head screws are too big in circumstance. 8-40 heads are too large.

Please note; There will be a price increase for SS Screws for the 9/0 plate screws and bridge screws the set which includes 16 plate screws and 4 bridge screws will be $56.00+Shipping

This increase is due to SS cost and tooling.

Thank you Joe

If anyone is interested in the 8-40 socket head screws to conform to the 9/0 from Tom, this is the last call. I am machining up for bigger jobs. May 31st it will no longer be available.

Thank you for that, and I am glad to hear people are happy with what I have made and if they're not I will make them better.
