I fish a double ended lines on all my casting rods, have alway done 5 turns on the overhand portion, taking the loop over the end of the snap is an interesting finish, if the double line is no longer a loop on the terminal end, just 2 tags an improved clinch knot with 5 turns before the 2 tucks has been bulletproof for me.  I like the loop long enough to reach back the reel when I cast.
