Ditto, festus.  Having these schematics is a real service to anyone interested in the Heddons.  Much appreciated.

Adding to the festus Heddon schematics, here's two: for the 222 & 284.

I snagged this schematic from a current Heddon 242 auction on ebay.  All info given it's a huge reel and never seen water, with all papers. Shipping is too high and starting bid is too expensive or I'd go for it. Not much difference in reel engineering I see, no ball bearing but looks to have a more complex drag system.

Good job finding another Heddon schematic Chester. Those eBay pics are hard to see clearly sometimes. These seem to be a bit too bright, I blocked out some sun, does this help any?

Thanks, Mo, much better.  The only photo editing program I have is a free one--PhotoPad.  What do you use?

thank you for the schematic Swami.. could we get a closeup of the Heritage parts and schematic please ?
That is the predecessor of the MarkIV 3200 which Ed is looking for, and should be quite similar to the MarkIV..

thanks, Doug
