Squish jig hook sizes?

I bought some generic squish jigs and was wondering what size assist hooks I should put in them???????

I think Savage Gear might be the knock off. I've seen jigs of that style long before they came on the market although the Squish jigs may have their own action since they get compared to flat falls... which are also knock offs!

I like going with a larger set of assist hooks. Most of the ones that come with them stock are on the small side. With a bigger hook, you get a better hookset. It also will make it more difficult for the little ones to eat your jig. For rockcod, I usually do 5/0-7/0. For tuna, 7/0 and up.

Thanks exactly what I was thinking.. 5/0-7/0 for lings/rockfish and 7/0 or higher for tunas!
