Hey guys,
I've been poking around this site for about a month taking advantage of the wealth of information that is available here. I finally registered tonight and here is my first question.   I have a Okuma Coronado CD65 (not the newer CD65a but similar), I saw on this thread http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=1661.0 that Alan suggested replacing felt drag washers in the CD65a with carbon fiber washers. How would I go about obtaining a set of those washers, I haven't been able to find any for sale anywhere. Is there a way to make them myself?

Thanks!
Mike

Check out http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=1628.0.  The washers used were Penn HT-100s that can be bought though MysticParts.com.

The size should the same as the Cedros 65.

:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Thanks for the quick replies guys, I appreciate the Help. I went over to MysticParts.com only to find that the 6-7000 drag washers are:

MULTI USE:

This item is used on multiple reels.

  LIMITED QUANTITIES AVAILABLE

These are on factory back-order with no due date from Penn

Do they normally have these in stock? Could be that I'm searching the site wrong. I was looking for a drag washer section on the site but I guess you have to search each one by part#.
