this reel might need a litttle bit more than oil and grease.

this was given to a local captain few years ago, he told me the owner rolled over the reel with his pick-up truck, it should've been a eally heavy truck to break the thick aluminium frame and spool like that.

I havent dismantled it yet to check for all the broken and bend parts but it should easily need between $150 to $200 in parts, the problem in case the new owner wanted to order the broken parts is the rest of the parts "in good shape" might be compromised or bent just enough to dont accept the new parts and work smooth.

what do you guys say?  boneyard material?parts.

Time to take it out back and shoot it Alex. You might be able to harvest parts from it
Do what you can with that you have where you are

I'd scavenge a few parts and drop the rest in the trash! It deserves a good burial!

A cursory search on BDOutdoors.com classifieds showed that, even in 2016, used Tyrnos 12II's have listed around $175...

Cool, I will look for another on the $175 range and buy it.
Dismantle it and later put all the parts together again but using the handle and shifter from this reel to feel like I could save something from it.
