A couple of San Diego tackle shops received their orders of the TRQ15XNLD2 on Wednesday, and were sold out by Friday.

The 15xn will probably be my first Torque. Has to be unbeatable for 50# fly lining.

It's the size of an old Newell 220. It's pretty small for fishing 50#, rated for 310yds of 50# spectra, would be great for a 30# top shot and good for 40#.

The Torque "12" is the same as a Newell 220, the Torque "15" is the same as a Newell 229.
The new "15XN" has the same sideplate, gears, frame, handle, etc as the 25N and 30 Torque LD2's.
A bit overkill for 30, with a sweet spot at 40, and can handle 50 assuming the line capacity works for you.
Using Berkley Pro-Spec Solid braid, it holds 400 yards of 50 pound.

"IF"  I get one I'll load it with 150 yards of 60 hollow & fish 50 & 60 with 15' leader. Some of our fishing is very different. I think it's neat seeing how fellas use the same the gear differently ...Jeff
