It would be impossible to upgrade this reel!  A new in the box 4/0 Fin Nor with all paperwork from I believe the late 1950's, based on the catalog that came with it, but I am not a Fin Nor expert.  Serial number is 224.  Paperwork includes catalog, reel maintenance brochure, and price lists for leather cases and rods.  Price reduced to $1200.
