What an incredible find . . .

That reel was a one-of-a-kind Shimano prototype with a special proprietary finish called "Leopard Camo".

LOL !

Anyway . . . I like the mottled appearance and, if it is repairable, fish it and enjoy !

( PS - "Leopard Camo" is a good back-story, whenever people ask you about the finish )

The reel is coming along. I am sure it will need new bearings. Maybe a roller clutch anti-reverse bearing as well. Leopard Camo! lol  I can get the bearings from Shimano but looking for other options just not Boca ceramic bearings. I am not a bait caster and it belongs to a friend. BTW he said he hooked it in the #### of Woman Bay, Ocean City Maryland. Is that a reel place? lol

Well . . . Yes & no - LOL !

The actual name ( I had to Google it ) is "Assawoman Bay", near Ocean City. Maryland.
