Hey all,

Wondering if there's any increase to the max drag rating on the 300 DSV when upgrading the washers. I think the default max drag is 15.3lb or something like that per TackleTour? Just curious...

Also, any other recommended upgrades to this that would be worthwhile, like updating the drive shaft bearing and/or other bearings, the handle to power handle, etc?

A power handle is a nice upgrade for these reels, might be worth checking if the factory handle off a Shimano Genpu 200PG will fit?

As for the drag, the factory drag is the original Dartanium, which I'm not a big fan of, but it already makes plenty of drag for a reel this small. I wouldn't worry about chasing higher max drag numbers because any rod that can deal with that much drag will be completely unbalanced with the little Curado.
