Anyone know anything about the Shakespeare made JC Higgins reels? What years they made them for Higgins? How many units did they make? Or anything else.

They made some of the old Sea Wonders.

535-31380 (black) same as the Shakespeare 2065
535-31390 (black) same as the Shakespeare 2070
535-42100 (black) same as the Shakespeare 2080
535-42110 (black) same as the Shakespeare 2090

All were sold in the early '60s. By the mid '60s Shakespeare was replacing the gray Sea/Spin Wonder lines with the maroon/burgundy line
