Squidder anti free spool mod idea

I was thinkin of gettin a C.C. Squidder kit.

   They are fantastic G...I haven't fished my stock Squidders since I bought the CC.

Dave's modification looks like a good option.

For my situation, I modded mine by rotating the head-plate to a diffrent position. The lock screw no longer goes into the hole of course, so it will be sticking out a bit. Since it takes a tool to turn the plate, it won't come off while fishing the reel.
The 3rd pic. shows my hand in the casting position(lever is in free spool position).
