I recently received shipment of 49a & 500a reels from South Africa. Likely the last shipment. Costs to purchase and ship make it no longer cost effective. Once these are gone, that's it

All 49a are in boxes, most are solid 9+ and a couple are more a 7.5 condition. I'm offering at below my cost to the Ohana.

Couple weeks ago I sold one of these on eBay for $175, and IMO that is the low end of actual value of a boxed 49a.

The 500a are mostly above average condition. A couple are missing spare spool, rest have spare spool. A couple are new, a couple are mint. 3 are lefties.

Prices vary from $85-$130 and $8 shipping to USA

I have several of both 500a and 49a. Boxes vary from blue to gold, to blue/white.

Feel free to shoot me a PM with any questions

Ted, do any of the 49 A have the A stamped in the side plate?  If so I want one.  Dominick

Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat all day drinking beer.

No 49a in logo. Sorry Dominick. Good luck on your quest. My friend in South Africa has been searching for over 2 years and has only found one with "a" in the logo

Are a few of the 500a reels mottled in color? Hard to tell from my phone.

The sideplates are not mottled. The major difference between USA jigmaster and African 500a is the spool that has more capacity than a stock jigmaster
