Microlite washer question...

I have 3 clear plastic washers that I cannot remember for sure where they go on this Microlite, anyone?  I think they came off the main gear but not sure now.  Strange thing is when I install these washers and put the side cover on the reel locks up.   Thanks and Happy Easter!

They go on the main gear, Joe --

Never seen 3 -- only 2 -- but no matter.

I generally leave these off.  As long as your side oil-lite bearings are burnished, and the main gear shafts are smooth -- and a couple of drops of synthetic oil is used on both sides -- you will find that the washers just get in the way.

There were two versions of the 265, plus a couple of gear variations.  And these versions and variations are not listed anywhere.

So basically -- I just do what works the best for performance and longevity.
