Just received a Micron that I snagged off Ebay for $25 with a Mitchell 308 included.
Looks pretty cool. Just need to find some time to disassemble and lubricate.
Appears to have the wrong bail nut and is missing the Badge.
Any guesses on where to find either?

The medallion will cost you more than you paid for the reel, if you can even find one. Parts for any Alcedo reels are very tough to come by. Just keep checking on da'Bay. Sometimes hard to find things just pop up, but you'll have to be patient.

Sure thing. I don't think I'll have to tear this down to the point of removing the bearings. Other than the usual dried grease inside it looks pretty good. It's pretty interesting. The nut on it is over-sized and brass. Throws it way out of balance.

I bought what is supposed to be a NOS nut and washer. It hurt. Hopefully the reel will be worth it when I get it together. I've got an old bamboo rod that I'm using with another Mitchell 308. I may move the Micron to it.

The first ultralite reel I saw was an Alcedo on a St. Croix rod. I still want one.

If you have all the parts for them I'd possibly consider going through an Erie 2CS or Micron this coming winter. I have no access to Alcedo parts, though.
