Hi David,  Yep, they are special....  My comment to "shelf or fish"  is my long term strategy, aimed at Ted, to try and get that beautiful Blue one down under,  ...  I recon it's a pretty long stretch, at best, but if I start now with little flashes of intent, Ted could very well weaken  !!!

Mine will have pride and place next to my First Gen Senators, once I finally get around to building shelves....
It wont be fished...

Built 25+ years ago and never had line on it. Not even one tiny ding from the shift lever. Life is good !

I found a picture of our 6/0 reels sitting together prior to them being separated by thousands of miles and a vast ocean or 2
