I am feening to go fishing in San Diego... I went on a 1.5 day on the Pacifica out of Seaforth landing over a year ago. First time and it was a good experience. Y'all got any recommendations for another boat / landing ? At this time I only want to do a 1.5 or 2 day trip...

Cool
I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6...

Try the Aztec out of Seaforth landing , great crew as well as very comfortable and clean boat and good food! Bunkroom is broken down into several multi bunk staterooms. Captain Greg always makes the trips fun and enjoyable !

I pulled the trigger on a 4 day trip on the Searcher... An Izorline sponsored trip leaving 8-7-21... I can't wait to get fishy with them !

Good Capt (Art)+Good Boat + Sponsored Trip =  :)  You got a win right there!  Right now is sort of unprecedented time in San Diego fishing.  Boats that are technically "Long Range" with staterooms and all the amenities have unheard of numbers of relatively "local" trips (think 1.5-4 day) in their schedules due to the fact that they are projecting great fishing close to home.  Sure, you might end up chasing a bluefin school and 200 yards away will be one of the 1.5 day "bunk boats" (and there is NOTHING wrong with fishing on them - it's a good time and I have been there many times!) but I can promise - you are going to be more comfortable (my old bones like that) better fed (my big belly likes that) and realistically, you're paying for a trip - the fishing is not guaranteed and that is just a bonus!  Good luck and looking forward to hearing a report! - john
