LAGUNA - 5BI SPINNING 3000 clutch

 I bought a Laguna 3k and (2) 4k all brand new for $20 a piece. After lending to a friend I got them both back with seized clutch bearings.I took one 4K apart and got so digusted I threw it in the garbage. I wrote an unhappy note to DAiwa saying these reels are 3 months old and I want an upgraded clutch pack that won't rot out. Daiwa makes 3 lower end end reels, the Crossfire, Sweepfire and strike force for sub $30 range. The Laguna retails for $40 and it should not seize up after 1 use with not being rinsed. So my question is this : What other reel in the 3k and 4k series has a clutch pack and roller that will fit this reel that will not lock up. I still have a 4k brand new in the clamshell and I would like to fix the 3K. Needless to say Daiwa did not answer my question and I'm kinda pissed off. I'm slowely going back to Quantum and Fin nor as I can get parts easy and there holding up well.
