Ambassadeur XLT Plus won't engage retrieve

    I started using a large freezer bag when i have to deal with c-clips after sending some into orbit,just stick the screwdriver or awl through the bag and I can see what I'm doing.Once you get those little Ambassadeurs tuned in the're a nice reel,I use these and a Daiwa Prolite the most even though I have a couple newer baitcasters that will cast a little farther and are easier to dial in but the older ones have the metal frame and foot and i don't feel like I'm out there fishing with a chunk of plastic.

Swede, They went on way to easy, I'm sure I'll pay for that somewhere down the line.  Love the freezer bag idea

Reels are a lot like Women in that they sometimes just want a little attention.........
Glad you got it going .
AND the proper name for those c-clips  is JESUS Clips
as that is generally what you say when one pops off in orbit .
In mixed company that is .
I sometimes use  different terms.
