Corrosion on spool?

If I remember correctly best thing I can do is coat it lightly with gear grease. Also wondering if anyone uses a polish on the body side plates and if so what. This is the only International I will ever work on here in Ohio! Kind of a one and done situation.

Hi Chris, its not to bad really, maybe clean it up with straight vinegar, then coat it with 2 pak epoxy, or finger nail polish hardener, after it sets, just paint it with marine grease, good luck, cheers Don.
