I have a Newell 300 reel the spool Wiggles back-and-forth heard thereís a bushing to stop it from happening but I canít find them help

They're showing one unit with the spring, is it a bushing or a bearing?

Correct me if Iím wrong, but wasnít the 300 series aftermarket parts that fit penn jigmasters? Could be bearing cup shims or bearing shims heís looking for. Or were there spool shaft spacers (bushings) to make up the difference between spools?

The Right side BEARING CUP is suppose to be snug not tight. The spool adjustment is made on the left side Bearing Cup. In side the LEFT Bearing CUP there should be a spacer then the bearing & the spool shaft in the Bearing.

If it's on the Left - Clicker side - it is a spacer. You don't want the spool to have zero play. A little play is good 1/32" is OK
