Hey Clem I'm in awe mate!
Out of the two Stella models 08 vs 13 which do you believe to be the better overall & why??
Cheers Pete

I still like the SW Pete, the SWB has better sealing and I think is a little more rigid in the rotor but there was little wrong with the SW. the SW has less parts and easier to maintain so is still my pick.

Hi clem i am planning on servicing my spool of a 10000pg i was wondering how do you open the plate underneath the spool and is it reverse thread or normal, ie what way would i turn to open it.

Thanks

Still a very very good reel. The SWC is barely an improvement; arguably the anti-reverse is a step backward.

The 2020 Saltiga is quite a lot better, but you're talking about refinements on excellence, they're all great reels.
