Going from a pflueger patriarch xt 30 $250 to a $25 okuma rox 20 hehe,,,,,, Big difference the weight is Twice as much and cranking was like climbing a rickety ladder,,,,the drag was jerky,,,,,,, "but that's ok"after taking it apart greasing,,,, with a little oiling here and there,,,, cal's grease on the filt drag washers it's not so bad,,,,,,,,

if you get a chance, measure the inside and outside diameters of the felt drag washers and i'll send you some carbon fiber drags to replace them!!!!

Switching out the drag mat makes huge improvement

After the upgrade u should use an electronic scale and set drag to 0.3555 lb
I feel ensuring accuracy to the 1000th decimal place is criticalis

the penn #6-60 ht-100 washer usually works in these.  i mostly need the outside diameter.  it doesn't have to be exact.

a set of penn ht-100 #6-155's will fit perfectly.  three, right?  i'll get them into the mail tomorrow.
