Bill,  that's a nice selection of antiques.  They might work,  but I would leave them at home.  You'll get a better idea of what to use once we all start pulling gear out. Don't spend alot of money just yet.

Bring 30, 40, 50 and 60 pound fluoro.

10-4. I have a large selection of chromed hooks....yea or nea?
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

MarkT

I don't waste fluoro on YT or schoolie YFT on the Ridge... they don't care!  I'd save it for BFT if you go after them.

I'm bringing some heavy mono, flour, ss wire and some Ti wire.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

You can, but it's not likely you will use them. It's probably pretty old.

Has a reservation with a fish processor been made yet?

Reservations are being recommended on BDOutdoors.

Bill B

I believe Alan made reservations with Fisherman's Processing. Bill

Yes, we have reservations for the entire boat. It's a little more complicated this year, but we will be tagging fish ahead of time, but still sharing to try to keep guys from getting too far behind.  I will be giving a list to Fisherman's Processing so they know who needs to get out the same day and who wants their fish frozen for next day pick up.

I contacted the SOA office for some more clarity on the testing.
A nasal swab home test is acceptable.
The test can be done no earlier than 10/2 and I assume up to the time of departure. A picture of the negative reault is sufficient.

Those home test kits may get more difficult to acquire as this thing rages, so i would start looking for one now.

Cant wait to share the rail with all y'all. Its been way to long.

Finally found a self test COVID kit. $25 at Walgreens for two tests.
That should cover me for both SoA trips in October.

Bring a lite jacket, a long sleeve shirt and light rain gear.  It can be chilly at times.
Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Do those quick tests work for getting through places that require a test or vaccination?  I thought you had to do the full lab PCR and get test result papers..... at a hundred bucks per pop.
