Good buy - I think you'll like em.  Just don't try anybody's fancier version.

I put a mono topshot on just about everything.  I'll tie on a few feet of fluoro with a surgeons knot if necessary.

Ditto here. I find 50-75 yds of topshot is alot more forgiving in close combat tangles for amateurs like myself. 30 or 40# for the 25NLD2; 50 or 60# for the 40NLD2. Very cheap and easy to change em out.

Good advice everyone, thank you....unfortunately Charkbait wasn't spooling reels during the sale, but probably for the good in my case....so 65 lb braid with 40 lb top shot on the 25N and 80 lb braid with a 60 lb top shot the 40N.  Lots to learn on this long range stuff......Bill
