I too like/prefer the Izor XXX.  I don't like Ande or Maxima. Ande is large in diameter for it's strength and seems stiff as does Maxima.  I used Maxima decades ago on bait casters but switched to P-Line XXX.  Izor XXX is a copolymer like the P-Line and comes off the reel much smoother.

Pretty much all I do is surf fish and I wanted a strong bright line for me to see as well as the pelicans and seagulls, we have plenty over here. So in a nutshell I have just about tried them all and I settled on P-Line fluorescent Green. Its a good bright line form Japan and it really looks between yellow and green. I've seen the Big Game in new Blaze orange color and that has my attention also, I'm going to get a spool as soon as I see it. I was also a fan of the Stren Catfish line, very stron and very bright but I'm pretty sure its been discontinued.
