Sand Dabs, near the Steilacoom Ferry Terminal on Friday 2 July.  No monsters in here but most everyone limited on Sand Dabs, a few rock fish were caught and released as well a a few dogfish.  Most of the guys from the North West Kayak Anglers were from the Portland area, and had said they like coming up to WA as the area is easier to launch and have a laid back day.  Cody the guy who arrange the outing, has been hitting this area for a few areas and has it dialed in.    I was using worms, and found a slow troll (okay slow kayak troll) was the best for me.  I took home 10 keepers and turned them into a plate of fried pieces about the size of fish sticks.
Bad day of fishing still beats a good day at work!

Good on you brother. Always a good day getting out on the water....even better bringing home dinner...Bill
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

Small but tasty. Nice job. I like to chase rock sole once in a while.

I am getting jealous as heck.  I need to fish.  I'm missing a whole season here again.
I woke today and suddenly nothing happened.
