Retired lathe man

Found the forum while trying to locate replacement parts for one of my Penn spinning reels.
The amount of knowledge and information here is incredible.
I'm a retired machinist and love to work on quality machinery, especially old ones that still providing excellent service.(Penn reels)
I'll probably ask a lot of dumb questions but bear with me I am a fast learner.
I'm going through a 420ss now with intentions of using it for sea trout in obx this fall.
Thanks Retired lathe man.

alantani,I,m looking for a drag knob for my 420ss and maybe a spare spool.
I have looked high an low with no luck.
The reel is in great shape otherwise, probably a detail strip, good cleaning and fresh lube and it will be ready to fish.
