You find out a lot tearing and putting back together a reel. Originally I thought the gear was wrong. I had a spare 66 gear and found pinion. The 66 would not work the side plate has a funny step down. The gear that came with it the teeth pattern is more coarse than 60 and finer than 66. The side plate has tight tolerance have to use 60 drag washers.
