To ALL Who Have Seen These Presence, Greetings!
Know ye, that today we send our shipmate and brother Across the Bar!
All Ye who hold Chris Rush as brother and shipmate:
STAND TALL AND RAISE YOUR CHARGER, a shipmate is crossing the bar.

Sunset and evening star
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
   Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
   And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
   When I embark;

For though from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.

Until we meet you across the bar to meet the Pilot,
Fair Winds, Following Seas and Rest Easy your Oars!!

Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Thank you very much Don.  Alan has allowed me access to the site and it is something I will do when I can.

I know how important the Ohana was to Chris it was a community of like-minded people across the world that he enjoyed very much.

Luckily we had a few days away the week before he died so I have some good memories.

He died of "unmanaged hypertension" basically he had high blood pressure but didn't check it at all! Hence he had a fatal bleed on the brain. It was relatively quick and he died at home. Hard for me but I have many friends providing unending support.

Take care and best wishes

Yvonne

Have only just seen this, and am shocked, and saddened by this. Chris certainly has had an influence on me with what he has shared with us all. Coupled that with his positivity to others, he will be missed for sure.

Condolences to Yvonne and family.
