UN.. believable news, BUTT Tom must be near retirement age, and it is time to go and do something else with your life.

Mike, too, is a great capt. in his own right, quality guy.

I've fished on the Huli Cat DOZENS and DOZENS of times.   Have bumped into Tom at our Costco and we have talked for an hour, an easy guy to be around.

Rob, that photo you posted of the Huli Cat going over that big roller at Mavericks, my oldest son was on the boat and what a day it was for all of them.

Check it out:

I might have to travel to Ft. Bragg and do some salmon & rockfish fishing in the future.  Solid boat for sure.

Had a good time with Captain Mike Cabanas during my trip on Saturday. The boat being sold took him by surprise as well. Nothing lined up for him yet :/ . On a side note, I Did very well on my trip though, catching my limit and then some for other people and crew. A bittersweet farewell. Lazy swell big yellows and widows, about 10 lings, fishing at 250-270 ft deep.

Juan That is a fitting end to the Huli.  Send it up the coast on a high note.
