The hole spacing was 6" instead of 5"  it would be exactly centered on the rear bar but, I like things portable and toyed with receiver mounted options(too pricey so I returned those rod holders and got a simpler option:

I fabricated the front rod holder mount during the lull of waiting for the rear rod holders (note: Excalibur is ready for slaying)
