I didn't see a Compac section or have been able to find a schematic for this reel.The grease in this reel was so hard the handle wouldn't turn.I cleaned it and it is so slick now,

It's from the mid '70s. There were also models SL-110 (light size), SL-113 (medium size) & SL-114 (large saltwater).

Wow, does design in a spinning reel get any more stupid simple ?  I mean this in the best way. Sorry to say I've never had an old Penn  Green spinner apart, are they similar in any way ? Heck some ones done a tutorial on one.

I know besides 40 year old grease this thing could virtually last forever,all metal except the drag knob and handle. Thank you Tommy for the History.

Yes, the Penn 720 is almost as simple.
